Council Minutes of 10-04-2016 <br />• Discussed first was liquor permit no. 22348152255 for Dolgen Midwest LLC dba <br />Dollar General Store #17110 located at 3785 Clague Road. There were no <br />objections from the North Olmsted Police Dept. Councilman Barker made a <br />motion to not object. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard, and the <br />committee voted 3-0 to not object to this liquor permit. <br />• Discussed last was Ordinance 2016-94 which is an Ordinance amending the <br />Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to eliminate the "No Right Turn <br />on Red" sign at Dover Center and Mill Road for traffic traveling in an easterly <br />direction on Mill Road and turning south onto Dover Center Road, and declaring <br />an emergency. There were questions, comments and a brief discussion regarding <br />this issue as well as a request to hold the legislation in committee. Councilman <br />Barker made a motion to recommend approval of Ordinance 2016-94. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard, and the committee voted 2-1 <br />(Barker voted no) to recommend approval of Ordinance 2016-94. <br />Councilman Barker made a motion to not object to liquor permit no. 22348152255 for <br />Dolgen Midwest LLC dba Dollar General Store #17110 located at 3785 Clague Road. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. No <br />objection 6-0. <br />Councilman Kearney, Chairman of the Finance Committee: <br />The Finance Committee met Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. Present were <br />committee members Kearney, Schumann and Barker; Council members Brossard, <br />Limpert and Williamson; Mayor Kennedy, Safety & Service Director Glauner and <br />Planning & Development Director Wenger. <br />• Discussed first was Ordinance 2016-90 which is an Ordinance authorizing the <br />Mayor to enter into an agreement with John Patrick Picard Architect, Inc., to <br />provide additional professional design services to the City for the Recreation <br />Center Master Planning Study, and declaring an emergency. The committee <br />voted 3-0 to recommend approval of Ordinance 2016-90. <br />• Discussed last was Resolution 2016-91 which is a Resolution dispensing with the <br />formal Request for Qualifications (R.F.Q.) process and authorizing the Mayor to <br />enter into an agreement with Jeffrey A. Grusenmeyer & Associates, Inc. in order <br />to provide continuing professional services as the Building Commissioner of the <br />City of North Olmsted and as Plans Examiner, on a part-time basis. The <br />committee voted 3-0 to recommend approval of Resolution 2016-91. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />No comments. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution 2016-85 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading.
