SECTION 1: That Sections 8 and 9 of Ordinance No. 2002-103 (as Section 8 was <br />previously amended by Ordinance No. 2008-95), which presently read as follows: <br />SECTION 8: That the funds received by the City from all emergency medical <br />services and ambulance transportation billings shall be designated to the General <br />Fund and expended to meet any of the general needs of the City. <br />SECTION 9: That there is hereby created a new special revenue fund entitled the <br />"Emergency Medical Services Fund." The Director of Finance is authorized and <br />directed to designate to said special revenue fund twenty-five percent (25%) of all <br />funds received by the City from emergency medical services and ambulance <br />transportation billings to residents. Expenditures from the new "Emergency <br />Medical Services Fund so created by this Section shall only be for capital <br />improvements for the Fire Division of the Department of Public Safety. <br />BEAMENDED, AND, AS AMENDED, SHALL READ INITS ENTIRETYAS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 8: That the funds received by the City from all emergency medical <br />services and ambulance transportation billings shall be designated fifty percent <br />(50%) to the Emergency Medical Services Fund and fifty percent (50%) to <br />the General Fund and expended to meet any of the general needs of the City. <br />SECTION 9: That there is hereby created a new special revenue fund entitled the <br />"Emergency Medical Services Fund." The Director of Finance is authorized and <br />directed to designate to said special revenue fund twenty five per-eent (25% Of <br />all funds received by the City from emergency medical services and ambulance <br />transportation billings to residents.
