Education .............................................1 <br />TOBACCO USE / EXPOSURE REDUCTION <br />This program focuses on reducing the impact that tobacco use/exposure has on the <br />health of county residents. Initiatives currently include encouragement and <br />development of comprehensive tobacco -free school policies, activities to counter the <br />influence of the tobacco industry, and the enforcement of the Ohio Smoke Free <br />Workplace Law. <br />Program.lnquiries.and Respanses.(in hours)*......................10 <br />Inspections, Reinspections and .Complaints ........................5 <br />RABIES CONTROL AND PREVENTION <br />The primary objective of the Rabies Control and Prevention Program is to monitor the <br />incidence of rabies in domestic and wild animal populations. To achieve this <br />objective, the Board of Health collaborates with the Cuyahoga County Animal <br />Warden's Society, the Animal Protective League, the Ohio Department of Natural <br />Resources Division of Wildlife, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Ohio <br />Department of Health, and local veterinarians to discuss and assist in the surveillance <br />of rabies in animal populations. <br />Program.lnquLries.and Respanses.(in hours).*......................17. <br />Inspections, Reinspections and .Complaints .......................22 <br />
