Council Minutes of 11-01-2016 <br />uniformity; and to otherwise restate the compensation rates and descriptions for various <br />administrative and legislative personnel for the years 2015, 2016 and 2017, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2016-124 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance to allow the upgrade of traffic signals and signal systems along Lorain Road <br />(SR -10) in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2016-125 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />purchase of 5,000 tons of stone for various service department needs throughout the City <br />as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract with the lowest and best bidder(s) to purchase said stone, after Board of Control <br />approval. <br />Resolution 2016-126 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />purchase of 5,000 tons of asphalt materials for various service department needs <br />throughout the City as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor <br />to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder(s) to purchase said materials, after <br />Board of Control approval. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Council President Jones scheduled a Special City Council meeting for Thursday, <br />November 3, 2016 at 7:00p.m. to vote on Ordinances 2016-102 through 2016-114. <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting for <br />Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss an update on City Drainage, the <br />Pine School Property and also City Flood Prevention. The Safety Service Director and <br />City Engineer are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Barker scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting for <br />Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss Ordinances 2016-124. The <br />Planning & Development Director is asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Williamson scheduled a Streets and Transportation Committee meeting <br />for Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 7:35 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2016-125 and <br />Resolution 2016-126. The Mayor and Safety Service Director are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Kearney scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Wednesday, <br />November 9, 2016 at 7:40 p.m. to discuss Ordinances 2016-122 and 2016-123. The <br />Mayor, Finance Director, Law Director, Planning & Development Director and Human <br />Resources Director are asked to attend. An additional meeting on Saturday, November <br />19, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. was also scheduled to discuss Ordinance 2016-122. There will be a <br />follow-up meeting on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss Ordinance <br />2016-123. <br />10 <br />
