Council Minutes of 11-15-2016 <br />rates and descriptions for various administrative and legislative personnel for the years <br />2015, 2016 and 2017, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Kearney <br />made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings as this was discussed in the <br />Finance Committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2016-123 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2016-124 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance to allow the upgrade of traffic signals and signal systems along Lorain Road <br />(SR -10) in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker <br />made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings as this was discussed in the <br />Public Safety Committee. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and <br />passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded <br />by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2016-124 adopted 7- <br />0. <br />Resolution 2016-125 introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />purchase of 5,000 tons of stone for various service department needs throughout the City <br />as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract with the lowest and best bidder(s) to purchase said stone, after Board of Control <br />approval. <br />Resolution 2016-126 introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />purchase of 5,000 tons of asphalt materials for various service department needs <br />throughout the City as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor <br />to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder(s) to purchase said materials, after <br />Board of Control approval. <br />Ordinance 2016-127 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2016, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2016-128 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance accepting a permanent easement on permanent parcel number 234-15-008 <br />from the North Olmsted Board of Education for the purpose of installing and maintaining <br />traffic signal equipment, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2016-129 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Cooperation Agreement with Cuyahoga <br />County/The Cuyahoga County Department of Public Works for the purpose of sharing <br />costs associated with a culvert replacement on Bradley Road where it crosses over French <br />Creek. <br />Ordinance 2016-130 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy.
