Council Minutes of 12-20-2016 <br />Resolution 2016-142 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase for Police Department use three (3) new <br />Ford Utility Police Interceptors and related equipment, all through the State Purchase <br />Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to <br />effectuate such purchase, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Barker scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting for <br />Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2016-142. The Safety & <br />Service Director is asked to attend. <br />Councilman Schumann scheduled a Building, Zoning and Development Committee <br />meeting for Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 7:05 p.m. to discuss CMS 16-7577 Starwood <br />Restaurant Proposal. The Planning Director and applicant are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Kearney made a motion to adjourn into executive session to discuss pending <br />litigation. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. <br />Council adjourned into executive session at 8:44 p.m. <br />Council reconvened at 8:52 p.m. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Jones adjourned the Council meeting at approximately 8:52 p.m. <br />Charles Massarolo II, Clerk of Council <br />,no ^ <br />Nicole Dailey Jones, &dp(nt of Council <br />D <br />
