Council Minutes of 1-17-2017 Councilman Barker, Chairman of the Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee: The Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee met on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 7:13 p.m. Present were committee members Barker, Williamson and Brossard; Council members Hemann, Kearney, Limpert and Schumann; Human Resources Director Gallo, Safety & Service Director Glauner and Planning & Development Director Wenger. • Discussed first was liquor permit number 6530901 for Old Vienna Restaurant LLC located at 30111 Lorain Road. It's a new permit for a D1 license. There are no objections from the Police Department. Councilman Barker made a motion not to object to the permit. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and the committee voted 3-0 not to object to the liquor permit. • Discussed next was liquor permit number 6430509 for North Olmsted Drive Thru LLC, DBA North Olmsted Marathon located at 27645 Lorain Road. This is a transfer permit for licenses C1, C2 and D6. It's being transferred from Bright Oil Company DBA North Olmsted Marathon. Councilman Barker made a motion not to object to the permit. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and the committee voted 3-0 not to object to the liquor permit. Councilman Kearney Chairman of the Finance Committee: The Finance Committee met on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. Present were committee members Kearney, Schumann and Barker; Council members Brossard, Hemann, Limpert and Williamson; Human Resources Director Gallo and Safety & Services Director Glauner. • Discussed was Ordinance 2017-6. An Ordinance amending and re-establishing Chapter 167.99 of the Administrative Code, entitled "Composition and Organization of the Department of Human Resources" in order to implement organization changes within the department, and declaring an emergency. Ms. Gallo in her new position as HR Director has realigned the department to make it more efficient. The committee voted 3-0 in favor of the ordinance. Councilwoman Williamson Chairman of the Streets and Transportation Committee: The Streets and Transportation Committee met on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 7:05 p.m. Present were committee members Williamson, Hemann and Limpert; Council members Barker, Brossard, Kearney and Schumann; Human Resources Director Gallo, Safety & Services Director Glauner, Planning & Development Director Wenger and guests. 3
