Council Minutes of 2-7-2017 <br />City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2017, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution 2017-13 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new Ford F-650 truck and related <br />equipment from Valley Truck Centers at a cost of $70,375.00, through the State Purchase <br />Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to <br />effectuate such purchase. <br />Resolution 2017-14 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new Ford F-150 Truck at a cost of <br />$26,908.65, through the State Purchasing Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to <br />execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase. <br />Resolution 2017-15 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract with the Sindyla Consulting Group LLC for the purpose of providing legal and <br />consulting services related to the telecommunication industry, including negotiation of <br />agreements for the location of cell towers on City owned properties. <br />Resolution 2017-16 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a cooperation agreement with Cuyahoga <br />County/The Cuyahoga County Department of Public Works for mutual obligations <br />related to the rehabilitation of Cedar Point Bridge No. 00.49 in the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />Ordinance 2017-17 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Limpert. <br />An Ordinance amending Section 1363.302.2 of Chapter 1363 of the Real Property <br />Maintenance Code entitled "Discarded Materials" in order to provide standards for trash <br />receptacles on commercial properties. <br />Ordinance 2017-18 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance creating a perpetual easement for traffic control purposes in the name of and <br />for the use by the City of North Olmsted, on real property at 24291 Lorain Road and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williams made a motion to suspend the rules <br />requiring three reading and formal committee review as this was discussed in Caucus this <br />evening. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. <br />Councilwoman Williams moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2017-18 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2017-19 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending Chapter 1321 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North <br />Olmsted entitled "Permit and Inspection Fees", for the purpose of updating fee schedules, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2017-20 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an <br />agreement with the Senior Transportation Connection of Cuyahoga County to provide <br />8 <br />
