Council Minutes of 2-7-2017 <br />Resolution 2017-3 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award <br />of a contract to provide asphalt resurfacing and related repairs upon City streets, as <br />detailed in the specifications on file with the Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, <br />following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and <br />best bidder. Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion was seconded <br />by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Resolution 2017-3 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2017-5 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new Duraco Durapatcher Model 125DJT <br />Trailer Mount Spray Injection Machine from Leader Machine Company, LTD. At a cost <br />of $56,673.00, through the State Purchase Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to <br />execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase. Councilwoman Williamson <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed <br />unanimously. Resolution 2017-5 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2017-6 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance amending and re-establishing Chapter 167.99 of the Administrative Code, <br />entitled "Composition and Organization of the Department of Human Resources" in <br />order to implement organization changes within the department, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2017-6 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2017-7 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Mad Bomber Fireworks <br />Productions to provide a fireworks display for the 2017 North Olmsted Fourth of July <br />Celebration. <br />Ordinance 2017-8 was introduced by Council President Jones and all of Council and was <br />given its second reading. An Ordinance establishing and fixing the compensation for the <br />elected officials of the City of North Olmsted for the term of office commencing January <br />1, 2018 and ending December 31, 2021. <br />Ordinance 2017-9 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. <br />An Ordinance amending Chapter 953 entitled "Recreation Center Complex" in order to <br />update the petty cash allocation for the Recreation Center and to eliminate the obsolete <br />Concessions Division. <br />Resolution 2017-10 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a letter agreement with Crown Castle to <br />provide for the modification and extension of a lease agreement to continue the <br />occupancy of real property for the Monopole Cellular Tower located at Clague Park; and <br />further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to amend and extend <br />such lease agreement. <br />Ordinance 2017-12 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy.
