Council Minutes of 2-21-2017 <br />for, among other services, senior citizen transportation services, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three <br />readings as this was discussed in Committee and is time sensitive. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman Kearney <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed <br />unanimously. Resolution 2017-20 adopted 6-0. <br />Resolution 2017-21 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to purchase a new Sierra GMC <br />truck at a cost not to exceed $27,000.00 for use at the Waste Water Treatment Plant; and <br />further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such <br />purchase, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend <br />the rules requiring three reading and formal committee review as this was discussed in <br />Caucus this evening and is time sensitive. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Resolution <br />2017-21 adopted 6-0. <br />Resolution 2017-22 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new Holland Loader Backhoe Model <br />B95C from Akron Tractor & Equipment, Inc. at a cost of $88,827.55 through a joint <br />purchasing program; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents <br />necessary to effectuate such purchase, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney <br />made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review <br />as this was discussed in Caucus this evening and is time sensitive. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Councilman Kearney <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed <br />unanimously. Resolution 2017-22 adopted 6-0. <br />Resolution 2017-23 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new Ford F-550 truck and related <br />equipment from Valley Ford Truck, Inc. and a platform aerial lift from Lift -A -Loft at a <br />combined cost of $80,863.00, through the state purchase program; and further authorizing <br />the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase, and declaring <br />an emergency. Councilman Schumann made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three <br />readings and formal committee review as this was discussed in Caucus this evening. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. A <br />Resolution dispensing with the RFQ process and authorizing the Mayor to renew a <br />contract with M133 Consulting LLC for the purpose of providing economic development <br />consulting services to the City. <br />Resolution 2017-25 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution dispensing with the Request for Proposal (R.F.P.) process required to obtain <br />the services of a vendor to provide plumbing and HVAC preventative maintenance <br />7 <br />
