Council Minutes of 4-4-2017 <br />specifications on file and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the <br />lowest and best bidder, after Board of Control approval. <br />Resolution 2017-29 introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the service <br />of leaf collection as per the specifications on file and, further authorizing the Mayor to <br />enter into a contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, after Board of Control <br />approval. <br />Resolution 2017-30 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of herself and all of <br />Council and was given its second reading. A Resolution proclaiming May 14th through <br />May 201h as substance abuse prevention week in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Resolution 2017-31 introduced by Mayor Kennedy on behalf of himself and Councilman <br />Schumann and was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of <br />Planning and Development to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide <br />concrete sidewalk replacement services for the Burns Road Sidewalk Improvement <br />Project, as detailed in the specifications on file with the Engineer, and authorizing the <br />Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the <br />lowest and best bidder. <br />Ordinance 2017-34 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending Section 915.06 of the Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code of <br />the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted to eliminate the Swimming Pool <br />Credit and to further reflect a monthly versus quarterly billing cycle, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution 2017-35 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy on <br />behalf of himself and Councilwoman Hemann. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to <br />enter into a shared services agreement with the City of Bay Village to provide animal <br />control services to the City on an as -needed basis, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Kearney scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, April 11, <br />2017 at 7:00p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2017-34. The Director of Finance is asked to <br />attend. <br />Councilman Rahm scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting for <br />Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 7:15 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2017-35. The Director of <br />Safety and Service is asked to attend. <br />Councilman Schumann scheduled a Building, Zoning and Development Committee <br />meeting for Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss CMS 16-7640, the North <br />Olmsted Community Schools High School/Middle School Complex Project Phase III. <br />5 <br />
