Definitions <br />LANDSCAPE NURSERY means the growing, storage and sale of garden plants, shrubs, trees, <br />or vines for resale, including incidental retail sales. <br />LANDSCAPE PLAN means a site plan depicting planned locations of trees, shrubs, lawns, and <br />other landscaping that will be established on the site. <br />LATTICE TOWER means a support structure constructed of vertical metal struts and cross <br />braces forming a triangular or square structure which often tapers from the foundation. <br />LAW DIRECTOR means the chief legal officer for the City of North Olmsted. <br />LOADING SPACE means an open or enclosed space, other than a street, used for temporary <br />parking of a commercial vehicle while its goods are being loaded or off loaded. <br />LOT means a division of land separated from other divisions for purposes, of sale, lease or <br />separate use, described on a recorded subdivision plat, recorded suryey'map or by metes and <br />bounds. "Lot" also means an area of land being described as a lot in a duly recorded subdivision <br />or appearing as a single parcel on the Auditor's Map Records or subdivided into a separate area <br />or parcel in accordance with the provisions of ORC 711.01. "Lot". includes'the term "plot." <br />LOT, CORNER means a lot with at least two (2) contiguous sides abutting the intersection <br />of two (2) streets, forming an interior angle of less than 135 degrees. Also a lot abutting a <br />curved street shall be considered a corner lot if the tangents of the curve, at the points of <br />beginning with the lot or the points of intersection of the side lot lines with the street line, <br />meet at an interior angle of less than 135 degrees. <br />LOT, INTERIOR means a lot other than a <br />LOT, THROUGH means an interior lot having frontage on two (2) parallel streets. A corner <br />lot shall be considered having double frontage if it has access on three (3) or more sides. <br />Also referred to as a "Double Frontage Lot." <br />LOT AREA means the total horizontal area within the property lines of the lot. <br />LOT COVERAGE means the proportion of the surface of a lot that is covered by the ground <br />floor area of the main building ,and all accessory building, excluding unenclosed porches, <br />terraces and steps, measured from the outside surface of the exterior walls. <br />LOT DEPTH means the mean hori <br />lot lines. <br />LOT LINE means the boundaryof <br />a lot separating it from adjoining <br />public, ;common or private land, <br />including a public.street.: <br />LOT LINE, FRONT means the <br />lot line separating a lot from <br />the street upon which it abuts, <br />or the shortest lot line of a <br />corner lot which abuts upon a <br />street. Unless the context <br />clearly indicates the contrary, <br />"front lot line" shall also mean <br />"street line." <br />I distance of a lot measured between the front and rear <br />LOT LINE, REAR means the line that is opposite the front lot line and also the farthest in <br />distance from the front lot line. <br />Page 1115-11 City of North Olmsted Zoning Code <br />
