MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MAY 2, 2017 <br />Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Hemann, Kearney, <br />Limpert, Rahm, Schumann & Williamson <br />Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human <br />Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Safety & Service <br />Glauner, Clerk of Council Massarolo, and Director of Planning & <br />Development Wenger <br />Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br />5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />The Council meeting minutes of April 18, 2017 were ap-proved as written. <br />The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br />this evening: Second Reading — Resolution 2017-37. <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Kennedy: <br />• No Report. <br />Director of Law Gareau: <br />• No Report. <br />Finance Director Copfer: <br />• No Report. <br />Councilman Brossard Chairman of the Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee: <br />The Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee met on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at <br />7:00 p.m. Present were committee members Brossard, Kearney and Schumann; Council <br />members Hemann, Limpert, Rahm and Williamson; Director of Planning & Development <br />Wenger, Director of Safety and Service Glauner and guests. <br />• Discussed was Ordinance 2017-36. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to <br />advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide construction services for <br />the Recreation Center Tennis and Gymnastics Roof Renovation, as detailed in the <br />specifications on file in the Department of Parks and Recreation, and authorizing <br />the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same <br />with the lowest and best bidder. The tennis and gymnastics portion of the <br />Recreation Center's roof has been leaking water. It's very cold in the winter time <br />and hot in the summer time. They will be removing a section of the roof and the <br />
