Council Minutes of 8-15-2017 <br />Resolution 2017-56 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Schumann and Councilman Rahm. A Resolution designating the lobby of The City of <br />North Olmsted Police Station as an Internet Purchase Safe Zone, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution 2017-57 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution approving the award of a job creation grant to CommutAir and further <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into a grant agreement; and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2017-58 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance to allow the upgrade of traffic signals and signal systems along Brookpark <br />Road (SR -17), Great Northern Boulevard (SR -252), Columbia Road, Cedar Point Road, <br />Country Club Boulevard and Butternut Ridge Road in the City of North Olmsted, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Kearney scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, August 22, <br />2017 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2017-57 and asked the Director of Planning & <br />Development and the Economic Development Manager to attend. <br />Councilwoman Hemann scheduled Streets and Transportation Committee meeting for <br />Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 7:10 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2017-58 and asked the <br />Director of Planning & Development to attend. <br />Councilman Rahm scheduled a Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee meeting for <br />Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 7:15 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2017-56 and asked the <br />Director of Safety & Service to attend. <br />Councilman Schumann made a motion to excuse the absence of Councilwoman <br />Williamson. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed <br />unanimously.
