NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Planning and Development be and she is hereby <br />authorized to apply for a Transportation for Livable Communities Initiative grant from the Northeast <br />Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency and that this Council approves the use of City funds, as <br />appropriated pursuant to separate Appropriation Ordinance. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be, and he hereby is, authorized to accept the said grant, if <br />awarded, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted and to execute a contract, if required; and that the <br />Director of Planning and Development be, and she hereby is, authorized to execute all other non- <br />contract documents necessary to effectuate receipt of the grant. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the further <br />reason that it is necessary that this legislation go into effect immediately in order to meet the grant <br />application deadline of October 6, 2017; and further provided that it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: &d6PL,5E�_ IC) W)7 First Reading: '1-) 1- f <br />J._ Second Reading: <br />Third Reading: <br />Committee: <br />ATTEST: <br />CHARLES MASSAROLO II <br />Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED: 9 l �1 <br />Ik1 <br />oVIN M.
