Council Minutes of 9-5-2017 <br />Department, in order to increase fees and charges currently charged, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution 2017-60 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission <br />and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Fiscal Officer. <br />Resolution 2017-61 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution directing the Fiscal Officer of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North <br />Olmsted, Ohio, during the year 2018, all money due and owing said City from any <br />collection source. <br />Ordinance 2017-62 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance dispensing with the RFP Process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract with Ciuni & Panichi to provide GAAP conversion assistance services for the <br />preparation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for 2017 with two <br />one-year options, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Kearney scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Wednesday, <br />September 13, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Resolutions 2017-60, 2017-61 and Ordinance <br />2017-62 and asked the Director of Finance to attend. <br />Councilman Rahm scheduled a Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee meeting for <br />Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 7:20 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2017-59 and asked <br />the Director of Safety & Service to attend. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Jones adjourned the Council meeting at approximately 8:40 p.m. <br />Charles Massarolo II, Clerk of Council <br />Nicole Dailey Jones, Poe 4 it of Council <br />7 <br />
