EXHIBIT A <br />(Tcsultants <br />SCOPE OF ENGINEERING SERVICES <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO <br />SOUTH INTERCEPTOR INFILTRATION/INFLOW STUDY <br />Scope of Services <br />CT intends to implement our technical approach with the following tasks: <br />Task 1 — Model Development <br />• Kickoff Meeting <br />• Data acquisition <br />o Plans <br />o Mapping <br />o Historical flow information <br />• Model development from existing plans <br />o Sewer survey is not included in the scope of this project but is available <br />upon request. <br />• Model stress testing <br />o Identify critical capacity locations <br />o Review flow meter locations <br />Task 2 — Flow Metering <br />• Finalize metering locations <br />• Review City installations <br />• Obtain and perform QA/QC on all flow meter and rain gauge data received from <br />the City <br />• Analyze data for dry weather, groundwater, and wet weather flow <br />• Identify surcharge/backwater events <br />Task 3 — Hydraulic Modeling <br />• Develop rain responsive flows in the model <br />• Calibrate the model to actual flow data including: <br />0 1/1 flows <br />o Backwater surcharge conditions <br />• Identify interceptor issues observed in the model <br />• Review model calibration and interceptor issues with City staff <br />• Finalize model based upon the City's review and input <br />Prepared by CT Consultants, Inc.
