EXHIBIT <br />a A <br />911.03 DEFINITIONS. <br />The following definitions shall apply to Chapters 911, 915, 917, and 919. <br />(1) "Act" means the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, also known as the <br />Clean Water Act, as amended, 33 U.S.C. 1251, et seq. <br />(2) "Applicable pretreatment standard" means any pretreatment limit or <br />prohibitive standard, Federal and/or local, deemed to be the most restrictive, with <br />which nondomestic users are required to comply. <br />(3) "Approval authority" means the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency or <br />the United States Environmental Protection Agency. <br />(4) "Assigned unit" means the measurement of a connection based on flow. <br />One unit is equal to 1,000 cubic feet (Mcf). <br />(5) "Authorized representative of industrial user" means: <br />A. A president, secretary, treasurer or vice president of a corporation, or; <br />B. A general partner or proprietor if the industrial user is a partnership or <br />proprietorship respectively, or; <br />C. A duly authorized representative of the above if the authorization is <br />previously made in writing to the Service Director by a person listed in subsections <br />(5)A. or B. hereof. <br />(6) "Average monthly discharge limitation" means the highest allowable <br />average of daily discharges over a calendar month, calculated as the sum of all daily <br />discharges measured during a calendar month divided by the number of daily <br />discharges measured during the month. <br />
