Council Minutes of 11-21-2017 <br />Ordinance 2017-86 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance appropriating funds for the Call Processing/Voice Mail System Project and <br />further authorizing the Director of Human Resources to solicit proposals for the Call <br />Processing/Voice Mail System and, subject to approval of the Board of Control, <br />additionally authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for such system, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Resolution 2017-87 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution to solicit RFP's for redundant fiber lines for the Police and Fire Departments <br />in conjunction with the Call Processing/Voice Mail System Project and further <br />authorizing the Director of Human Resources to solicit proposals for the police and fire <br />portion of the project and, subject to approval of the Board of Control, additionally <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for such fiber lines, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Kearney scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, November <br />28, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2017-80, Ordinance 2017-81, Ordinance <br />2017-86 and Resolution 2017-87. The Director of Finance and Director of Human <br />Resources are asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Williamson scheduled a Streets and Transportation Committee meeting <br />for Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 7:15 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2017-84. The Mayor <br />is asked to attend. <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting for <br />Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 7:20 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2017-83. The Director of <br />Safety & Service is asked to attend. <br />Councilman Rahm scheduled a Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee meeting for <br />Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 7:25 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2017-85.
