Council Minutes of 12-05-2017 <br />seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman Kearney <br />moved to adopt Resolution 2017-87. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Schumann and passed unanimously. Resolution 2017-87 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2017-88 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance to make temporary appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2018, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution 2017-89 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution determining to submit to the electors the question of issuing bonds for the <br />purpose of improving the City's park and recreational facilities by constructing, <br />renovating, remodeling, adding to, furnishing, equipping and otherwise improving <br />facilities for aquatics, basketball, volleyball, ice skating, fitness, indoor and outdoor <br />walking and gymnastics, ball fields, public spaces, locker rooms and spaces for related <br />and supporting activities at the recreation center complex; improving North Olmsted <br />Community Park by constructing, furnishing, equipping and otherwise improving a new <br />football and soccer field, a band shell and performance stage, an all-purpose trail, <br />playgrounds, bocce courts, parking areas and related supporting facilities and improving <br />existing ball fields, restrooms and other facilities; and improving Barton and Bradley <br />Park by improving existing facilities and providing supporting site, street and sidewalk <br />improvements, in each case together with the necessary appurtenances and work <br />incidental thereto; and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Kearney scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Wednesday, December <br />6, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. and December 16, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. to discuss Ordinance 2017-88. <br />Councilwoman Hemann scheduled an Intra -Governmental Relations Committee meeting <br />for Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss five reappointments to various <br />Boards and Commissions. The Director of Planning & Development is asked to attend. <br />Councilman Brossard scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee <br />meeting for Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 7:10 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2017-89. <br />The Mayor is asked to attend. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Jones adjourned the Council meeting at approximately 8:28 p.m. <br />�2 <br />Charles Massarolo II, Clerk of Council <br />Nicole Dailey Jones,6r <br />si ent of Council <br />2 <br />
