Council Minutes of 12-05-2017 <br />descriptions for various administrative and legislative personnel for the years 2018, 2019 <br />and 2020, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2017-81 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. <br />An Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2017, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney moved to suspend the rules requiring three <br />readings as this was discussed in committee and is time sensitive. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman Kearney <br />moved to adopt Ordinance 2017-81. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann <br />and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2017-81 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2017-83 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. <br />An Ordinance amending various sections of Chapter 911 entitled "Sewers Generally," <br />Chapter 915 entitled "User Charge System," and Chapter 917 entitled "Industrial <br />Pretreatment" all of the Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code in order to comply <br />with EPA regulations, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2017-84 was introduced by Councilmembers Limpert, Hemann, Schumann <br />and Williamson and was given its second reading. An Ordinance amending the Traffic <br />Control File of the City of North Olmsted to create a right turn only lane between the <br />hours of 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, in the right lane of northbound <br />Stearns Road, south of the 1-480 entrance ramp to accommodate traffic entering 1-480. <br />Ordinance 2017-85 was introduced by Councilman Limpert and was given its second <br />reading. An Ordinance repealing Section 537.16 "Permitting Minors to Play Billiards or <br />Pool" of Chapter 537 of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances entitled "Offenses <br />Against Persons." <br />Ordinance 2017-86 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. <br />An Ordinance appropriating funds for the Call Processing/Voice Mail System Project and <br />further authorizing the Director of Human Resources to solicit proposals for the Call <br />Processing/Voice Mail System and, subject to approval of the Board of Control, <br />additionally authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for such system, and declaring <br />an emergency. Councilman Kearney moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings <br />as this was discussed in committee and is time sensitive. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved to adopt <br />Ordinance 2017-86. Ordinance 2017-86 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2017-87 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution to solicit RFP's for redundant fiber lines for the Police and Fire <br />Departments in conjunction with the Call Processing/Voice Mail System Project and <br />further authorizing the Director of Human Resources to solicit proposals for the police <br />and fire portion of the project and, subject to approval of the Board of Control, <br />additionally authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for such fiber lines, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney moved to suspend the rules requiring three <br />readings as this was discussed in committee and is time sensitive. The motion was <br />9 <br />
