MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />FEBRUARY 20, 2018 <br />Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, <br />Kearney, Limpert, Schumann & Williamson <br />Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Safety & Service <br />Glauner, Director of Planning & Development Lieber, and Clerk of <br />Council Massarolo <br />Absent: Director of Human Resources Gallo <br />Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br />5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />The Council meeting minutes of February 6, 2018 were approved as written. <br />The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br />this evening: Second Reading — Ordinance 2018-14, Ordinance 2018-15 and Resolution <br />2018-16. <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Kennedy: <br />• The State of the City will be this Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Springvale <br />Ballroom. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. <br />• The Fish Fry's are going well. The first one was last Friday. The charity was I <br />Wear Grey For Calvin, Calvin was the student that passed away. Over $2100 was <br />raised in tips, bake sale and 50/50 drawing. The Fish Fry grossed nearly $3600. It <br />was a good start to the Fish Fry season and it was pretty steady the entire time. <br />• Deer culling is going well, we are up to 77. <br />• The Planning & Development Department is hosting the Second Annual <br />Residential Permit Forum. It will be held on Monday, February 26 at 7:00 p.m. in <br />Council Chambers. Attendees will meet Building Department staff and get their <br />questions answered. Residents, Contractors, Design Professionals and <br />Councilmembers are encouraged to attend. <br />Director of Law Gareau: <br />• No Report. <br />Director of Finance Copfer: <br />• No Report. <br />Councilman Brossard Chairman of the Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee: <br />
