Council Minutes of 2-20-2018 Ordinance 2017-76 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its third reading. An Ordinance amending Chapter 1145 "Limited Industry -Industrial Park District" of Chapter Eleven of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted titled "Planning and Zoning Code," for the purpose of implementing zoning code changes proposed by the City of North Olmsted Planning and Design Commission. Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2017-76 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2018-5 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its third reading. An Ordinance amending Chapter 721 of the Business Regulation Code, entitled "Peddlers, Solicitors and Temporary Businesses," in order to prohibit transient vendors and the licensing of temporary places of business. Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2018-5 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2018-6 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its third reading. An Ordinance establishing a revised Fee and Charge Schedule for the rental of the Community Cabin/Senior Center. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2018-6 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2018-7 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its third reading. An Ordinance amending and restating Section 957.01 of Chapter 957 (Alcoholic Beverages on Public Grounds) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted in order to modify the approval process for permits. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2018-7 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2018-10 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its third reading. An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $1,728,500 of Notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving Alden Drive and certain other designated streets between certain termini in the City by reconstructing and rehabilitating the pavement base, adjusting, constructing and reconstructing catch basins, curbs and curb ramps, manholes and utility valve and monument boxes, where necessary, preparing the surface and resurfacing, in each case together with necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2018-10 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2018-11 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its third reading. An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $261,500 of Notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring and installing telecommunications system equipment and network fiber, together with necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto, for use in carrying out City services and functions.
