Council Minutes of 2-20-2018 <br />Ordinance 2017-76 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its third reading. <br />An Ordinance amending Chapter 1145 "Limited Industry -Industrial Park District" of <br />Chapter Eleven of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted titled "Planning <br />and Zoning Code," for the purpose of implementing zoning code changes proposed by <br />the City of North Olmsted Planning and Design Commission. Councilwoman Williamson <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance 2017-76 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2018-5 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance amending Chapter 721 of the Business Regulation Code, entitled "Peddlers, <br />Solicitors and Temporary Businesses," in order to prohibit transient vendors and the <br />licensing of temporary places of business. Councilwoman Williamson moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance 2018-5 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2018-6 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance establishing a revised Fee and Charge Schedule for the rental of the <br />Community Cabin/Senior Center. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2018-6 <br />adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2018-7 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance amending and restating Section 957.01 of Chapter 957 (Alcoholic Beverages <br />on Public Grounds) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted in order to <br />modify the approval process for permits. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />2018-7 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2018-10 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its third reading. <br />An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $1,728,500 of Notes, <br />in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving Alden <br />Drive and certain other designated streets between certain termini in the City by <br />reconstructing and rehabilitating the pavement base, adjusting, constructing and <br />reconstructing catch basins, curbs and curb ramps, manholes and utility valve and <br />monument boxes, where necessary, preparing the surface and resurfacing, in each case <br />together with necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Councilman <br />Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance 2018-10 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2018-11 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its third reading. <br />An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $261,500 of Notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring and <br />installing telecommunications system equipment and network fiber, together with <br />necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto, for use in carrying out City services <br />and functions. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2018-11 adopted 7-0. <br />5 <br />
