Council Minutes of 3-6-2018 Resolution 2018-21 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide new pavement markings to various streets and locations in the City, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Engineering Department, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Councilman Limpert moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in committee and is time sensitive. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed unanimously. Resolution 2018-24 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the transportation and disposal of bio -solids from the wastewater treatment plant and, following the approval by the Board of Control, authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the lowest and best bidder. Resolution 2018-26 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide construction services for the 2018 Sidewalk Program, as detailed in the specifications on file with the Division of Engineering, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder.
