MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED APRIL 3, 2018 Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Kearney, Limpert & Schumann Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & Development Lieber, and Clerk of Council Massarolo Absent: Councilwoman Williamson and Director of Law Gareau Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. The Council meeting minutes of March 20, 2018 were approved as written. The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules this evening: Second Reading — Resolution 2018-34; First Reading — Resolution 2018-43. REPORTS Mayor Kennedy: • The remaining Park and Recreation Center Information Session dates are Saturday, April 14 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and Wednesday, April 25 from 5-8 p.m. All of these will be held at the Community Cabin. • Voter Registration deadline is April 9 and Election Day is May 8. • The Citizen of the Year Banquet will be held on April 19. • Friday, April 13 is going to be Joe McFarlane Day. There will be a reception at Springvale from 7:00-9:00 p.m. for the former two time State Champion wrestler from North Olmsted. He recently retired as Coach of University of Michigan Wrestling. He was also a four time All-American and a World Champ in 1988. Director of Finance Copfer: • No Report. Council President Jones, Committee of the Whole: The Committee of the Whole met Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 7:56 p.m. Present were Council members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Kearney, Limpert, Schumann and Williamson; Council President Jones; Help Desk Coordinator Friedel, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Network Administrator Lundberg, Clerk of Council Massarolo and guests.
