Council Minutes of 5-15-2018 Mayor Kennedy said he can assure the Councilwoman the City will continuing working on it. LEGISLATION Resolution 2018-44 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A Resolution dispensing with the Request for Qualifications (R.F.Q.) process required to obtain the services of a Back -Up Plans Examiner and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a three (3) year contract with Clark and Post Architects as Back -Up Plans Examiner, as amended. Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 5-1. Resolution 2018-44 adopted 5-1. Councilman Glassburn voted no. Ordinance 2018-45 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Emergency Ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio hereinafter referred to as the Municipality, in the matter of the hereinafter described improvement and requests the cooperation of the County of Cuyahoga, Ohio, hereinafter referred to as the County. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2018-45 adopted 6-0. Resolution 2018-47 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for rock salt for roadway ice and snow removal for use by the City of North Olmsted, as detailed in specifications on file and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder, after Board of Control approval. Resolution 2018-49 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution adopting the Alternative Tax Budget of the City of North Olmsted for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2019, and submitting the same to the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer and its Budget Commission, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2018-50 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution approving of and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a collective bargaining agreement with the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees ("AFSCME"), Ohio Council 8, Local 2681 for the City's Service Unit employees, for the period July 1, 2018 through December 31, 2020 and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2018-51 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance amending and restating Section 957.01 of Chapter 957 (Alcoholic Beverages on Public Grounds) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted in order to permit beer and wine to be sold and consumed at the North Olmsted Party in the Park on July 28, 2018 as a one time event, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2018-52 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance amending Chapter 1305 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted titled "One, Two and Three Family Dwelling Code." 5
