MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED JUNE 5, 2018 Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Kearney, Schumann & Williamson Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & Development Lieber, and Clerk of Council Massarolo Absent: Council Members Hemann & Limpert Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join the Scouts and Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. The Honorary Officials for All Scouts Day 2017 were announced. The Council meeting minutes of May 15, 2018 were approved as written. The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules this evening: None. Councilman Brossard Chairman of the Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee: The Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee met on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 7:12 p.m. Present were committee members Brossard and Williamson; Council members Glassburn and Kearney; Council President Jones; Mayor Kennedy, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & Development Lieber and guests. • Discussed first was Ordinance 2018-51. An Ordinance amending and restating Section 957.01 of Chapter 957 (Alcoholic Beverages on Public Grounds) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted in order to permit beer and wine to be sold and consumed at the North Olmsted Party in the Park on July 28,
