MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED JUNE 26, 2018 Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Kearney, Limpert & Schumann Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & Development Lieber, and Clerk of Council Massarolo Absent: Councilwoman Williamson, Director of Finance Copfer and Director of Law Gareau Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules this evening: None. REPORTS Mayor Kennedy: • No Report. Director of Law Gareau: • No Report. Director of Finance Copfer: • No report. Councilman Schumann Chairman of the Finance Committee: The Finance Committee met on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 7:10 p.m. Present were committee members Schumann, Brossard and Kearney; Council members Glassburn, Hemann and Limpert; Council President Jones; Mayor Kennedy, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Assistant Director of Finance Sperling and guests. • Discussed was Ordinance 2018-66. An Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2018, and declaring an emergency. This is the first transfer ordinance of 2018. The biggest change was $25,000 to the Mayor's office regarding contractual services for the firework show. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend to Council.
