MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />AUGUST 21, 2018 <br />Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, <br />Kearney, Limpert & Schumann <br />Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law <br />Gareau, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & <br />Development Lieber and Clerk of Council Massarolo <br />Absent: Council Member Williamson <br />Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br />5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />The Council meeting minutes of August 7, 2018 were approved as written. <br />The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br />this evening: Second Reading — Ordinance 2018-75; First Reading — Resolution 2018-79, <br />Resolution 2018-80 & Resolution 2018-81. <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Kennedy: <br />• Homecoming Weekend is August 23 through 26 at North Olmsted Park. The <br />schedule of events is on the website. Saturday has a couple of big events. It starts <br />at 9:30 a.m. with the First Annual Fat Heads Brewery Run, which is expecting <br />700 to 800 runners. Following the race is the new school dedication at 11:00 a.m. <br />Director of Law Gareau: <br />• No report. <br />Director of Finance Copfer: <br />• No report. <br />Councilman Limpert Vice Chairman of the Building, Zoning & Development <br />Committee: <br />The Building, Zoning & Development Committee met on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at <br />7:00 p.m. Present were committee members Limpert and Schumann; Council members <br />Brossard, Glassburn and Hemann; Council President Jones; Mayor Kennedy, Director of <br />Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, <br />Director of Planning & Development Lieber and guests. <br />
