Council Minutes of 8-21-2018 <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance 2018-75 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending Chapter 904 (entitled "Small Cell Facilities and Wireless Support <br />Structures within the Right -of -Way"), of the Streets and Public Services Code, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Limpert moved to suspend the rule requiring three <br />readings as this was discussed in committee and is time sensitive. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed 6-0. Councilman Limpert moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance 2018-75 adopted 6-0. <br />Resolution 2018-76 introduced by Mayor Kennedy and Councilwoman Hemann was <br />given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and <br />Development to make application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted to participate in <br />the Ohio Public Works Commission State Capital Improvement and/or Local <br />Transportation Improvement Programs; further authorizing the Mayor to accept funds, if <br />awarded, and to execute a contract as required; and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2018-78 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2018, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2018-79 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to renew the contract between the City and Karrie <br />Skall Tipton/North Olmsted Gymnastics, Inc. for the provision of professional <br />gymnastics instruction services at the North Olmsted Recreation Center for an additional <br />term of one (1) year, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney moved to <br />suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review as this was <br />discussed in Caucus and is time sensitive. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman <br />Hemann and passed 6-0. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Resolution 2018-79 <br />adopted 6-0. <br />Resolution 2018-80 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution ratifying the application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for a 2017 <br />Pre -Disaster Competitive Program Grant; further authorizing the Mayor to (1) accept <br />funds, if awarded; (2) Execute a contract as required; (3) accept a deed to real estate; and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Brossard moved to suspend the rules requiring <br />three readings and formal committee review as this was discussed in Caucus and is time <br />sensitive. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed 6-0. <br />Councilman Brossard moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Schumann and passed unanimously. Resolution 2018-80 adopted 6-0. <br />Resolution 2018-81 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase two (2) new Ford Utility Interceptors and <br />related equipment from Statewide Ford Lincoln, through the State Purchase Program; and <br />3 <br />
