PROPOSAL FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED LEBERN DRIVE, DOVER CENTER ROAD, AND CLAUGE PARK PUMP STATIONS' IMPROVEMENTS PRELIMINARY DESIGN ccnsultants B. Site Reconnaissance: We will coordinate with our key disciplines to perform a thorough review of the pump stations. We recommend City personnel responsible for the facility's operation accompany our team so we can collaborate and understand all factors and variables that could impact the design. CT will report observations believed to be critical to the design improvements; including code - related and safety issues. C. Basis of Design (BOD) Report: CT will prepare a basis of design report outlining all the anticipated design parameters for the noted alternatives and their respective advantages, disadvantages and recommendations. The report will include preliminary background drawings of the proposed improvements along with the Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost (EOPCC) for all alternatives. D. Bod Review Meeting: CT will meet with the City to review and discuss the Basis of Design. CT will provide a written scope and fee for Final Design, Bidding, and Construction services upon approval from the City on a selected alternative. INFORMATION / SERVICES PROVIDED BY CITY In order for the project to proceed quickly and efficiently, we require a few specific tasks be performed by the City in a timely fashion. 1. Provide record documents, sample documents and required contracting documents. 2. Address questions and needs of the consultant in a timely manner. 3. Provide CT with all design criteria as to the City's requirements for the project. 4. Furnish CT with other available information pertinent to the project. 5.
