An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to contract with Pelton Environmental Products Company to purchase a Centrifuge Scroll (Rotating Assembly), and to encumber funds for a cost of $133,500.00, for use at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2018-106 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to make application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for the Cuyahoga County Supplemental Grant Program; further authorizing the Mayor to accept funds, if awarded, and to execute a contract as required; and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in committee and is time sensitive. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Resolution 2018-108 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a one year contract with TAC Computer Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair services to computer hardware and software in the North Olmsted Police Department, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2018-109 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an ongoing Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") agreement with the Cuyahoga County Soil and Water Conservation District ("SWCD") to provide the City of North Olmsted with Minimum Control Measures 1 & 2 in accordance with the requirements of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems ("NPDES") Phase II, and declaring an emergency.
