MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED DECEMBER 18, 2018 Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Kearney, Limpert & Williamson Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & Development Lieber and Clerk of Council Massarolo Absent: Councilman Schumann Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. The Council meeting minutes of December 4, 2018 were approved as written. The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules this evening: Second Reading: Ordinance 2018-111 and Resolution 2018-113; First Reading: Ordinance 2018-116, Resolution 2018-118 and Ordinance 2018-120. REPORTS Mayor Kennedy: • City offices will close at Noon on Christmas and New Year's Eve and they will be closed all day on Christmas and New Year's. Director of Law Gareau: • No Report. Director of Finance Copfer: • The November finance reports have been sent to Council and the Administration. Councilman Kearney Chairman of the Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee: The Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee met on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Present were committee members Kearney, Hemann & Brossard; Council members Glassburn, Limpert, Schumann and Williamson; Council President Jones; Recreation Commissioner Drenski, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Safety & Service Glauner and guests. • Discussed was Ordinance 2018-103.
