Council Minutes of 12-04-2018 <br />Ordinance 2018-105 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to contract with Pelton Environmental Products <br />Company to purchase a Centrifuge Scroll (Rotating Assembly), and to encumber funds <br />for a cost of $133,500.00, for use at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilwoman Hemann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Glassburn and passed 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2018-100 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance to make temporary appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2019 and declaring an <br />emergency, as amended. <br />Resolution 2018-107 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an <br />agreement for additional services from Records Imaging Service, Inc., for the purpose of <br />scanning and indexing public records of City Boards and Commissions. <br />Resolution 2018-108 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a one year contract with TAC Computer <br />Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair services to computer hardware and <br />software in the North Olmsted Police Department, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2018-109 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an ongoing Memorandum of <br />Understanding ("MOU") agreement with the Cuyahoga County Soil and Water <br />Conservation District ("SWCD") to provide the City of North Olmsted with Minimum <br />Control Measures 1 & 2 in accordance with the requirements of National Pollutant <br />Discharge Elimination Systems ("NPDES") Phase II, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilwoman Hemarm moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings as it was <br />discussed in committee and is time sensitive. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Glassburn and passed 6-1. Councilman Glassburn voted no. Councilwoman Hemann <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed <br />unanimously. Resolution 2018-109 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2018-111 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2018, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2018-112 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance to make appropriations for capital improvements for the City of North <br />Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2019. <br />Resolution 2018-113 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution dispensing with the RFP Process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an <br />agreement with the Senior Transportation Connection of Cuyahoga County to provide <br />for, among other services, senior citizen transportation services, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />7 <br />
