Council Minutes of 12-04-2018 <br />Brossard, Kearney, Limpert and Schumann; Council President Jones; Director of Finance <br />Copfer, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of <br />Planning & Development Lieber and guests. <br />• Discussed was Ordinance 2018-109, A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter <br />into an ongoing Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") agreement with the <br />Cuyahoga County Soil and Water Conservation District ("SWCD") to provide the <br />City of North Olmsted with Minimum Control Measures 1 & 2 in accordance <br />with the requirements of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems <br />("NPDES") Phase II, and declaring an emergency. This Memorandum of <br />Understanding comes before Council every year and it provides the information <br />services by the way of bulletins and flyers to our residents with regard to <br />wastewater treatment and our soil and water conservation. The price has not <br />changed it is a $5,500 contract. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend to <br />Council. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Mr. Douglas Klimkowicz wrote a letter to Council objecting to the invoice for the <br />replacement of his sidewalk. He claims the contractor did not repair his property to its <br />prior state and a property line marker has been removed. He said the engineering <br />department denies removal of the marker. He is asking the City to repair his property to <br />its prior state before he makes any payment. A copy of this letter was placed in each <br />member of Council's mailbox and his Ward Councilmember has been notified of the <br />issue. Additionally, a copy of the letter was provided to the Mayor and he has been asked <br />to respond to Mr. Klimkowicz. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />No participation. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance 2018-101 introduced by Councilman Schumann was given its third reading. <br />An Ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to remove <br />school hour parking restrictions on Revere Drive, Pompton Drive, Glouchester Drive, <br />Nantucket Drive and Dorothy Drive, and declaring an emergency, as amended. <br />Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Brossard and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2018-101 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2018-102 introduced by Councilman Schumann was given its third reading. <br />An Ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to remove <br />left turn restrictions onto Butternut Ridge Road at Revere Drive in the City of North <br />Olmsted, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Schumann moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance 2018-102 adopted 7-0. <br />0 <br />
