Council Minutes of 1-2-2019 the Division of Police for the years 2019 and 2020; and otherwise restate the compensation rates and descriptions for various administrative and legislative personnel for the years 2018, 2019 and 2020, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Schumann moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings as this was discussed in committee and is time sensitive. An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $165,000 of notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring and installing telecommunications system equipment and network fiber, together with necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto, for use in carrying out city services and functions; and declaring an emergency. Councilman Schumann said he was in possession of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. Ordinance 2019-3 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $1,565,000 of notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving Alden Drive and certain other designated streets between certain termini in the City by reconstructing and rehabilitating the pavement base, adjusting, constructing and reconstructing catch basins, curbs and curb ramps, manholes and utility valve and monument boxes, where necessary, preparing the surface and resurfacing, in each case together with necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto; and declaring an emergency.
