Council Minutes of 1-2-2019 <br />anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of renovating, <br />rehabilitating, remodeling, adding to, furnishing, equipping and otherwise improving <br />buildings and facilities in the City's municipal complex, together with necessary <br />appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Councilman Schumann said he was in <br />possession of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance 2019-6 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $1,350,000 of notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of renovating, <br />rehabilitating, remodeling, furnishing, equipping and otherwise improving the club house <br />and ballroom facilities at the City's Springvale Golf Course, together with necessary <br />appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Councilman Schumann said he was in <br />possession of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance 2019-7 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $1,305,000 of notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring fire <br />apparatus consisting of an aerial platform truck and appurtenant equipment for use by the <br />City's Fire Department. Councilman Schumann said he was in possession of the Fiscal <br />Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance 2019-8 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $605,000 of notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay a portion of the cost of <br />improving Bretton Ridge Drive and certain other designated streets between certain <br />termini by reconstructing and rehabilitating the pavement base, adjusting, constructing <br />and reconstructing catch basins, curbs and curb ramps, manholes and utility valve and <br />monument boxes, where necessary, preparing the surface and resurfacing, in each case <br />together with necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Councilman <br />Schumann said he was in possession of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance 2019-9 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending and re-establishing Chapter 139.99 of the Administrative Code, <br />entitled "Composition and Organization of the Division of Public Safety" in order to <br />create the position of part-time School Resource Officer ("SRO"), and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Schumann moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings <br />as this was discussed in committee and is time sensitive. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Hemann, Kearney, Glassburn, Limpert, Williamson <br />No: None <br />Motion carried 7-0. <br />Councilman Schumann moved for adoption.
