Council Minutes of 1-2-2019 <br />Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Williamson, Limpert, Kearney, Hemann, Glassburn <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2019-9 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2019-10 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy and <br />Councilman Glassburn. A Resolution dispensing with the formal RFP process and <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Pradco in order to provide for <br />consulting services for an employee development assessment program, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Schumann moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings <br />as this was discussed in committee and is time sensitive. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Brossard and passed 6-1. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Hemann, Kearney, Limpert, Williamson <br />No: Glassburn <br />Motion carried 6-1. <br />Councilman Limpert voted yes with comment. I think this is going to be a very <br />productive program and something that residents have provided a lot of feedback over the <br />years. I know the Planning Director has been working on this for a while and I am excited <br />to get this in place. <br />Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. I would like to thank the HR Director <br />for advancing this and to request to be added to the legislation. <br />Ordinance 2019-11 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending Section 141.99 of Chapter 141 of the Administrative Code entitled <br />"Department of Public Service" in order to identify and list the positions to be supervised <br />by the Assistant Superintendent Maintenance within the Division of Wastewater. <br />Resolution 2019-12 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to accept a donation of a precision rifle scope from <br />Brian Lanckiewicz, valued at $2,900.00, to be used by the North Olmsted Police <br />Department, and deployed by the Westshore Enforcement Bureau Sniper Team. <br />Resolution 2019-13 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning & Development to advertise for bids for <br />the award of a contract to provide construction services for the Springvale Roof & HVAC <br />Project, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Department of Planning and <br />
