BIERMAN <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A NEIN AND REVISED TITLE <br />FIFTEEN OF THE ZONING CODE ENTITLED "LIMITED <br />INDUSTRY - INDUSTRIAL PARK DISTRICT", AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, the Building, Zoning and Development Committee <br />of Council has reviewed the Zoning Code with respect to the <br />restrictions and permitted uses in the existing Limited Industry <br />District, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to amend and <br />modify the existing Limited Industry District, which amendment <br />and modification conforms with the recommendation of the Building, <br />Zoning, and Development Committee of Council's recommendation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1. There is hereby established a new and <br />revised Title Fifteen in the Zoning Code of the City of North <br />Olmsted to be entitled "Limited Industry-Industrial Park District", <br />which new and revised Title Fifteen shall read as follows: <br />TITLE FIFTEEN <br />LIMITED INDUSTRY-INDUSTRIAL PARK DISTRICT <br />CHAPTER 1191 - DEFINITIONS, PURPOSE AND PERMITTED USES <br />1191.01 Definitions <br />(A) Limited Industry-Industrial Park District Defined. For <br />the nurposes of the Zoning Code, a Limited Industry-Industrial Park <br />District is defined as an industrial ar.ea, and which is controlled <br />with respect to character of occupancy, manufacturing, processes, <br />provision for off-street parking and off-street loading, lacation <br />of driveways, setbacks from residential boundary lines and from <br />residential streets, and treatment of such setback upon spaces so <br />as to protect the residential character of such adjoining or adjacent <br />residential area. <br />(B) Industrial Park. An area within the Limited Industry- <br />Industrial Park District which at the time of the effective date <br />of this Ordinances is undeveloped land consisting of ten (10) or <br />more acres and which, in order to be devleoped, must be done in <br />accordance with a development plan submitted to the Planning Commission. <br />1191.02 Purpose <br />Limited Industry-Industrial Park District and its respective <br />regulations are established herein to achieve, among others, the <br />following purposes: <br />(A) To provide convenient and sufficient districts for <br />light industrial activities in order to serve and promote economic <br />development of the community.
