CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 82 - 22 <br />BY: Mr. tiVilamosk <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATION AND <br />COMPOSITION OF THE NON-UNIFORM PERSONNEL OF THE <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT, TOGETHER IVITH SALARIES AND <br />VARIOUS BENEFITS FOR SAID EMPLOYEES, AND DE- <br />CLARING AN EMFRGENCY, AS AMFNDED. <br />WHFREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish a <br />complement for non-uniform police personnel, together with certain <br />benefits covering said emnloyees, anart from the Organizational Chart <br />established for the uniform police personnel. <br />NOW, THEREFORF., BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Organizational Chart for the non-uniform <br />police Department personnel of the City of North Qlmsted shall be as <br />follows; <br />(a) There shall be one (1) secretary; four (4) clerks; <br />thirty (30) auxiliary police; four (4) dispatchers, <br />one of which shall he designated senior disnatcher; <br />eighteen (18) school guards and one (1) police <br />matron, nart-time. <br />SECTION 2: That the Council does hereby establish salaries for <br />the various employees specified in Section 1 hereof, retroactive to <br />January 1, 1982, which salaries shall be as follows: <br />(a) Secretary <br />The secretary shall be compensated in accordance with <br />the Ordinance establishing pay ranaes for secretaries <br />in the Administrative Chart of the City of North Olmsted. <br />(b) Clerk <br />Clerks shall be compensated in accordance with the <br />Ordinance establishing nay ran;es for clerks in the <br />Administrative Chart of the City of North Olmsted. <br />(c) School Guards ................. <br />(d) Auxiliary Police .............. <br />(e) Police Matron ................. <br />(f) Dispatchers (Part-Time)....... <br />(g) Dispatchers (Full-Time)....... <br />(h) Senior Dispatcher (Full-Time <br />$3.45 Per Hour - lst year <br />$3.70 Per Hour - After lst year <br />$3.45 Per Hour - lst year <br />$3.70 Per Hour - After lst year <br />$3.45 Per Hour - lst year <br />$3.70 Per Hour - After lst year <br />$3.75 Per Hour <br />$7,500 to $10,000 Annually <br />$7,700 to $10,2 00 Annually <br />SECTION 3: That all full-time non-uniform police nersonnel, having <br />completed i5) years of full time continuous service as employees <br />of said department shall be paid an additional four nercent (40) of <br />their base annual salary; thereafter until completion of the tenth (lOth) <br />year of full time continuous service, after which such employee shall <br />receive five percent (5%) of their base annual salary; thereafter until <br />the completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of full time continuous
