MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED JANUARY 15, 2019 Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Kearney, Limpert, Schumann & Williamson Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau Director of Safety & Service Glauner Director of Planning & Development Lieber and Clerk of Council Massarolo Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. The Council meeting minutes of.lanuary 2, 2019 were approved as written. The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules this evening: Second Reading: Resolution 2019-12, Ordinance 2019-14 and Ordinance 2019-15. REPORTS Mayor Kennedy: • The Mayor said he was participating in a Tri -County challenge to encourage residents to participate in programming in and around their respective communities. It is being offered at the Recreation Center. • North Olmsted will be featured in an upcoming issue of Business View magazine in a series about sustainability and resilient efforts of Ohio cities. North Olmsted was selected because of its good government initiatives, financial flexibility and thoughtful future planning. • Camp Registration begins on February 0' at the Recreation Center. The City is also currently looking for camp counselors. Director of Law Gareau: • No Report. Director of Finance Copfer: No Report.
