MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JANUARY 15, 2019 <br />Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, <br />Kearney, Limpert, Schumann & Williamson <br />Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human <br />Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau Director of Safety & Service <br />Glauner Director of Planning & Development Lieber and Clerk of Council <br />Massarolo <br />Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br />5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />The Council meeting minutes of.lanuary 2, 2019 were approved as written. <br />The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br />this evening: Second Reading: Resolution 2019-12, Ordinance 2019-14 and Ordinance <br />2019-15. <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Kennedy: <br />• The Mayor said he was participating in a Tri -County challenge to encourage <br />residents to participate in programming in and around their respective <br />communities. It is being offered at the Recreation Center. <br />• North Olmsted will be featured in an upcoming issue of Business View magazine <br />in a series about sustainability and resilient efforts of Ohio cities. North Olmsted <br />was selected because of its good government initiatives, financial flexibility and <br />thoughtful future planning. <br />• Camp Registration begins on February 0' at the Recreation Center. The City is <br />also currently looking for camp counselors. <br />Director of Law Gareau: <br />• No Report. <br />Director of Finance Copfer: <br />No Report. <br />Councilman Kearney Chairman of the Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings <br />Committee: <br />The Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee met on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 <br />at 7:00 p.m. Present were committee members Kearney, Hemann & Brossard; Council <br />
