Council Minutes of' 1-15-2019 <br />• Discussed next was Ordinance 2019-6. An Ordinance providing for the issuance <br />and sale of not to exceed $1,350,000 of notes, in anticipation of the issuance of <br />bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of renovating, rehabilitating, remodeling, <br />furnishing, equipping and otherwise improving the club house and ballroom <br />facilities at the City's Springvale Golf Course, together with necessary <br />appurtenances and work incidental thereto. This is for the continuation of the <br />Springvale improvement project and the City hopes to recoup these funds from <br />Springvale customers. <br />• Discussed next was Ordinance 2019-7. An Ordinance providing for the issuance <br />and sale of not to exceed $1,305,000 of notes, in anticipation of the issuance of <br />bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring fire apparatus consisting of an <br />aerial platform truck and appurtenant equipment for use by the City's Fire <br />Department. This is for a fire truck and to be repaid by the EMS fund. <br />• Discussed next was Ordinance 2019-8. An Ordinance providing for the issuance <br />and sale of not to exceed $605,000 of notes, in anticipation of the issuance of <br />bonds, to provide funds to pay a portion of the cost of improving Bretton Ridge <br />Drive and certain other designated streets between certain termini by <br />reconstructing and rehabilitating the pavement base, adjusting, constructing and <br />reconstructing catch basins, curbs and curb ramps, manholes and utility valve and <br />monument boxes, where necessary, preparing the surface and resurfacing, in each <br />case together with necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. So this is <br />the 2019 Street Improvements. <br />• All of these notes are one year borrowing, with approximately two percent rate <br />balances due. They are to be bonded out at that time. The committee voted 3-0 to <br />recommend Ordinance 2019-2, Ordinance 2019-3, Ordinance 2019-4, Ordinance <br />2019-5, Ordinance 2019-6, Ordinance 2019-7 and Ordinance 2019-8 to Council. <br />• Discussed last was Ordinance 2019-11. An Ordinance amending Section 141.99 <br />of Chapter 141 of the Administrative Code entitled "Department of Public <br />Service" in order to identify and list the positions to be supervised by the <br />Assistant Superintendent Maintenance within the Division of Wastewater. This <br />rewrites the organization chart in the Division of Wastewater. An Ordinance accepting Traffic Control <br />Equipment Easements located on property owned by Higbee West Main, LP, and <br />designated as Permanent Parcel Number 236-09-005 by Cuyahoga County Maps <br />and Records, and declaring an emergency. <br />• Discussed next was Ordinance 2019-15. An Ordinance accepting a Traffic <br />Control Equipment Easement located on property owned by Columbia Land <br />4 <br />
