Council Minutes o1' 1-I5-2019 <br />"Department of Public Service" in order to identify and list the positions to be supervised <br />by the Assistant Superintendent Maintenance within the Division of Wastewater. <br />Resolution 2019-12 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to accept a donation of a precision rifle scope from <br />Brian Lanekiewicz, valued at $2,900.00, to be used by the North Olmsted Police <br />Department, and deployed by the Westshore Enforcement Bureau Sniper Team and <br />declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Brossard moved to suspend the rules <br />requiring three readings as this was discussed in committee and is time sensitive. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Brossard, Williamson, Schumann, Kearney, Limpert, Glassburn, Hemann <br />No: None <br />Motion carried 7-0. <br />Councilman Brossard moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman <br />Williamson and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Brossard, Williamson, Glassburn, Hemann, Kearney, Limpert, Schumann <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2019-12 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2019-13 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning & Development to advertise for bids fon <br />the award of a contract to provide construction services for the Springvale Roof & HVAC <br />Project, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Department of Planning and <br />Development, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to <br />contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. <br />Ordinance 2019-14 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance accepting Traffic Control Equipment Easements located on property owned by <br />Higbee West Main, LP, and designated as Permanent Parcel Number 236-09-005 by <br />Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Limpert <br />moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings based on conversations in committee <br />and in Caucus tonight in order to move the purchase of the easements lorward. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed 6-1. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Limpert, Kearney, Hemann, Williamson, Schumann, Brossard <br />No: Glassburn <br />Motion carried 6-1. <br />Councilman Limpert moved for adoption.
