Council Minutes of 1-15-2019 Yes: Limpert, Kearney, Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Schumann, Williamson No: None Motion carried. Ordinance 2019-14 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2019-15 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An Ordinance accepting a Traffic Control Equipment Easement located on property owned by Columbia Land Development Co., and designated as Permanent Parcel Number 236- 05-067 by Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Limpert moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings based on conversations in committee and in Caucus tonight in order to move forward with the purchase of the easements in a timely manner. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed 6-1. Roll Call: Yes: Limpert, Kearney, I-lemann, Brossard, Schumann, Williamson No: Glassburn Motion carried 6-1. Resolution 2019-16 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution declaring the necessity of the construction and repair of certain sidewalks in the City of North Olmsted by the abutting property owners; the construction, repair, and assessment of the costs of sidewalks in certain cases by the City, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2019-17 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy on behalf of himself and Council President Jones. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide upgrades and replacements to the City Hall Building Heating and Ventilation System ("HVAC"), as detailed in the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Resolution 2019-18 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide a new range roof enclosure and roof replacement at the North Olmsted Police Station, as detailed in the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder.
