Council Minutes of 2-5-2019 <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance 2019-2 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $165,000 of notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring and <br />installing telecommlmications system equipment and network fiber, together with <br />necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto, for use in carrying out city services <br />and functions; and declaring an emergency. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Schumann, Williamson, Brossard, Limpert, Glassburn <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2019-2 adopted 5-0. <br />Ordinance 2019-3 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $1,565,000 of notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving Alden <br />Drive and certain other designated streets between certain termini in the City by <br />reconstructing and rehabilitating the pavement base, adjusting, constructing and <br />reconstructing catch basins, curbs and curb ramps, manholes and utility valve and <br />monument boxes, where necessary, preparing the surface and resurfacing, in each case <br />together with necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto; and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Glassburn, Williamson, Limpert <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2019-3 adopted 5-0. <br />Councilman Glassburn voted yes with comment. Yes, because this is effectively a <br />reissuancc of previously borrowed funds. <br />Ordinance 2019-4 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $325,000 of notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring and <br />installing computer hardware and software, together with necessary appurtenances and <br />work incidental thereto, for use in carrying out City services and functions. Councilman <br />Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and <br />passed 4-1. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Schumann. Brossard, Limpert, Williamson <br />No: Glassburn <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2019-4 adopted 4-1. <br />Councilman Glassburn voted no with comment.
