Council Minutes of2-5-2019 <br />Ordinance 2019-25 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance declaring the necessity and intention of the City of North Olmsted to <br />appropriate a permanent easement for traffic control equipment, specifically 0.04 acres as <br />part of Permanent Parcel No. 236-14-001, located on land owned by SRC Facilities LLC <br />(aka Sears), and further authorizing the Director of Law, if necessary, to commence <br />eminent domain proceedings against Sears in probate court to acquire said easement, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2019-26 was. introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy, An <br />Ordinance accepting a traffic control equipment easement located on property owned by <br />Tech Parl: Associates, LTD. and designated as Permanent Parcel Numbers 236-10-002 <br />and 236-10-011 by Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2019-27 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance accepting a traffic control equipment easement located on property owned by <br />North Olmsted City Schools Board of Education and designated as Permanent Parcel <br />Numbers 235-16-007 and 23.5-16-008 by Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2019-28 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new 2019 Ford F-550 truck from Valley <br />Ford Truci:, including a plow blade from Best Truck Equipment, at a combined cost of <br />$69,525.95). t1Xou_t11 the State Purchase Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to <br />execute all coi'itract documents. <br />Ordinance 2019-29 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance dispensing with the Request for Proposal Process ("RFP") and authorizing the <br />Mayor to enter into an a(2,rcement with John Patrick Picard Architect, Inc., to provide <br />professional design services to the City for repair of the Police Station enclosure and roof <br />replaccmcnt, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2019-30 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution aui!7orizing the Director of Platuning and Development to solicit proposals for <br />consultinL, scrViccs for the 13utternut Ridge Historic District Design Guidelines Project <br />and, follo%\ in!i approval of the Board of Control, authorizing the Mayor to enter into an <br />agreement with selected consultant. <br />MISCI,,LLA.Nl-, OUS BUSINLSS <br />Councilman Brossard sclicduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare meeting for Tuesday, <br />February 12, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2019-29.
