Council Minutes of 2-5-2019 <br />Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the <br />lowest and best bidder. <br />Resolution 2019-19 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to purchase a Sutphen SPH 100 <br />Ladder Trucl:, at an estimated cost of $1,228,833.66 from Sutphen Corporation, through <br />the State Purchase Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents <br />necessary to effectuate such purchase, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Brossard <br />moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was heard in committee and it <br />is an immediate need. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Mad Bomber Fireworks <br />Productions to provide a fireworks display for the 2019 North Olmsted Fourth of July <br />Celebration, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2019-22 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />ReSolutI011 dispensing with the IZFQ process and authorizing the Mayor to renew a <br />contract \\ ith :NU33 Consulting LLC for the purpose of providing economic development <br />consultin�� services to the City. <br />Resolution 2019-23 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution ratifying the Solid Waste Management Plan Update for 2019-2033, as <br />prepared and adopted by the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste Management Board. <br />Ordinance 2019-24 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy.
