Council Minutes oft -19-2019 <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2019-29 adopted 6-1. <br />Resolution 2019-30 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to solicit proposals for <br />consulting services for the Butternut Ridge historic District. Design Guidelines Project <br />and, following approval of the Board of Control, authorizing the Mayor to enter into an <br />agreement with selected consultant. <br />Resolution 2019-31 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new 2019 Disc Style Brush Bandit <br />Chipper from Krystowski 'tractor, at a cost of Sfi0,378.56 through a State Cooperative <br />Purchase Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all contract documents. <br />Resolution 2019-32 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy, A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids Cor the award <br />of a contract to provide new pavement markings to various streets and locations in the <br />City, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Engineering Department, and <br />authorizing the Mayor, following approval of' the Board of Control, to contract for the <br />same with the lowest and best bidder. <br />Resolution 2019-33 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award <br />of a contract to provide cracksealing on various streets at various locations in the City, as <br />detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, and authorizing the <br />Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the <br />lowest and best bidder. <br />Resolution 2019-34 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award <br />of a contract to provide asphalt resurfacing and related repairs upon City streets, as <br />detailed in the specifications on file with the City Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, <br />following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and <br />best bidder. <br />Resolution 2019-35 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution dispensing with the RFP Process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract with WIIS l?ngincering for the purpose of providing engineering services for <br />IIVAC System at the North Olmsted City Ilall Complex, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUSBUSINESS <br />Councilman Kearney scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings meeting for <br />"Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2019-35. The Director of <br />Safety & Service is asked to attend. <br />Councilman I,impert scheduled a Streets & Transportation meeting for Tuesday, <br />February 26, 2019 at 7:15 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2019-32, Resolution 2019-33 and <br />Resolution 2019-34.
