Council Minutes o1*2-19-2019 <br />preservation of riparian floodplain, pursuant to North Olmsted Codified Chapter 926, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2019-25 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance declaring the necessity and intention of the City of North Olmsted to <br />appropriate a permanent easement for traffic control equipment, specifically 0.04 acres as <br />part of Permanent Parcel No. 236-14-001, located on land owned by SRC facilities LLC <br />(aka Sears), and further authorizing the Director of Law, if necessary, to commence <br />eminent domain proceedings against Scars in probate court to acquire said casement, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2019-26 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance accepting a traffic control equipment casement located on property owned by <br />"Tech Park Associates, LTD. and designated as Permanent Parcel Numbers 236-10-002 <br />and 236-10-011 by Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2019-27 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance accepting a traffic control equipment easement. located on property owned by <br />North Olmsted City Schools Board of Education and designated as Permanent Parcel <br />Numbers 235-16-007 and 235-16-008 by Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2019-28 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new 2019 lord f-550 truck from Valley <br />Ford "Truck, including a plow blade from Best Truck kquipment, at a combined cost of <br />$69,525.95, through the State Purchase Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to <br />execute all contract documents. <br />Ordinance 2019-29 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance dispensing with the Request for Proposal Proccss ("RFP") and authorizing the <br />Mayor to enter into an agreement with John Patrick Picard Architect, Inc., to provide <br />professional design services to the City for repair of the Police Station enclosure and roof <br />replacement, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Brossard moved to suspend the <br />rule requiring three readings as it has been discussed during Budget 11earings and in the <br />Finance Committee and is a project of necessity.
