Council Minutes of 4-02-2019 Mr. Sturgeon said the City needs to address how it looks at storage containers for construction sites. He mentioned the hotel being worked on near the City line with Fairview. He said it was started last summer and at one point the property had 13 to 15 shipping containers. He said there are not as many now, but it is still going on. He said he does not think these containers are attractive. He understands businesses need them if they are going to remodel, but he thinks the City needs to look at regulating them. Council President Jones says Council agrees and is working with the administration to address these concerns. LEGISLATION Resolution 2019-36 introduced by Council President Jones and all of Council was given its third reading. A Resolution commending the achievement by Ethan Hill of the Arrow of Light Award in Cub Scouting. Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Roll Call: Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Williamson, Hemann, Brossard, Kearney, Schumann No: None Motion carried. Resolution 2019-36 adopted 7-0. Resolution 2019-37 introduced by Council President Jones and all of Council was given its third reading. A Resolution commending the achievement by Elijah Mather of the Arrow of Light Award in Cub Scouting. Councilman Brossard moved for adoption.
